Ronnie Mirza who is presenting the Baishakhi Mela for the 6th time this year has started his career as a child artist in radio in Bangladesh. He has been presenting and producing TV programmes for the last 11 years and his own show, ‘iRonnie’ is the only ethnic TV show where high profile people like the Prime Minister, Director General of the UNESCO, Cabinet Members, Mayor of London and High profile Civil Servants have given interviews. Ronnie has worked with the BBC, Channel I (Bangladesh based international broadcaster) and Channel S and has been interviewed by the likes of BBC Asian Network and BBC Five Live to name but a few.
He states:

“I say: Know your culture, be proud of it.”
