Weavers Field - Baul & Folk Stage
Folk traditions - Baul music – will have a dedicated stage in Weavers Fields set within a family friendly area that will include a space for picnics.

The Baul and Folk music of Bengal was originally sung by the villagers of Bangladesh, but has crossed into the mainstream and is now popular in the cities all over the world, and is practised, performed and appreciated by all ages.

A segment of the Baul and Folk Stage programme will be hosted by Betar Bangla. The stage will play host to a number of leading artists from across the UK including Hashi Rani, Shah Dilwar Ali, Abdus Shahid, Akkas Miah and Amir Mohammed plus many more.
